The Edmonton Rocketry Club will Host the Seventh Annual Fire and Ice High
Power Launch
Date/Time: February 17th, 2007
Alternate days: February 18th, March 3rd, March 17th, 2007
Location: Viking, Alberta.
Waiver: 10000 AGL, 12000 ft windows
Weather Criteria: Since this is a winter launch we like to hold the event on a day where temperatures/wind chill will be tolerable. If the temperature forecast the day before is less than -10 deg C
in the morning we will cancel and go to the next alternate date (see above). Also, if the
sustained winds are going to be close to
20km/h or greater we will also postpone the launch. Please check this web site the evening before the launch to verify we are a go for launch.

Special Notes: Dress warm. Bring a lunch/snacks. There is no bathroom/outhouse close by, you have to drive in to town for a proper restroom if needed. There will be at least one person on site with First Aid/CPR training.
